Description

This free talk for adults shares the story of how over a million people from India were brought to the Caribbean through the indenture system after the abolition of transatlantic slavery. It explores how migration shaped their lives, culture, and identity, and how this connects to communities in the UK today. The talk also highlights how oral history has helped to preserve and share these important stories. No booking required.
