The Sierra Leone Arts & Culture Festival (#SLACfest) returns to South London for its 2025 edition! Expect a joyful weekend of Sierra Leonean art, culture, history, and heritage, featuring music, poetry, panel talks, comedy, food, exhibitions, vendors, and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

This is a publicly contributed event and not a council event. If you would like, you can submit your own event and have it appear on our website (subject to review).

The Sierra Leone Arts & Culture Festival (#SLACfest) returns to South London for its 2025 edition, taking place across the weekend of 31st October - 2nd November, with four separate ticketed events.

Expect a joyful celebration of Sierra Leonean art, culture, history, and heritage, featuring music, poetry, panel talks, comedy, food, exhibitions, vendors, and activities for the whole family, curated by The Young Sierra Leonean CIC.

#SLACfest2025 is proudly part of Theatre Peckham's Young, Gifted, and Black Programme.

THIS EVENT: Friday - Opening Event - Friday 31st October - 6pm-9pm

#SLACfest 2025 will open with an evening of networking, good vibes, live music, poetry, comedy and a powerful keynote address setting the tone for our weekend ahead from someone who embodies our theme of ‘Roots & Renaissance’ and champions our culture.

This is your chance to mingle with some of the amazing individuals who will be blessing our stage across the weekend and get a taste of what’s to come.

Come dressed to impress, ready to dance, and get set for an inspiring weekend ahead. You never know who you might meet.
