Performance Workshops for LGBTQ+ Migrants

Celebrate Pride with free theatre workshops for LGBTQ+ migrants, using music, dance, and acting to explore our queer migrant stories.

This is a publicly contributed event and not a council event. If you would like, you can submit your own event and have it appear on our website (subject to review).

Description

Three days of performance workshops in which we will explore together our LGBTQ+ experiences and legacies through performance, retell our migrant stories through music and find our inner divas. You might want to explore your cultural identity or share experiences of being “in-between”. These workshops will provide a joyful, supportive space to connect through performance.

On 2nd July, we will do a group visit to LGBTQ+ Migrant show to Who Is Claude Cahun? at Southwark Playhouse.
