Description

A crumbling kingdom, a disinterested ruler and one bargaining witch.

Théte is the Dax Kingdom’s assumed leader after her mother, Castrin, was sacrificed to the Gods in an effort to save their crumbling kingdom. Throughout her reign Théte has purposefully served extremely lacklustre attempts to repair and support the kingdom, feeling she must avenge her mother’s wrongful death. In her continued pursuit, she pleads for the powers of the witch to resurrect her mother. What will Théte sacrifice to get her mother back, how far will she go?

How To Survive A Witch is an imaginative piece of surrealism but one that tells us a lot more about ourselves than we may expect. The play explores, through fantasy and worlds beyond our own, human nature in all its deepest darkest forms.
