Turn Trash into Treasure – The Creative Way! 
Every Other Sunday | 12 – 2 pm

A fun-filled creative adventure where adults and children can transform everyday items into beautiful, useful objects β€” all while learning the importance of sustainability! All materials are provided.

  • Bottle Beauties – Paint and decorate bottles into vases or candle holders.
  • Light-Up Creations – Use fairy lights to create magical, glowing bottle art.
  • Jar Transformations – Repurpose jars into storage for pencils, sweets, or trinkets.
  • Fantastic Frames – Design and embellish your own picture frames to display cherished memories.

Some activities involve glue guns or strong adhesives and are suitable for children aged 8+.
Younger children are welcome with tailored safe activities just for them!

Sessions are led by Romi Witter Johnson, a creative artist, designer and gardener.

Romi grew up influenced by her mother, a skilled seamstress, and her father, a talented carpenter. Their creativity inspired her passion for arts and crafts using everyday items.

After a career in community and theatre management, Romi trained in Theatre Design and went on to produce innovative designs for productions across the UK.

Today, she shares her love for sustainable art by teaching others how to transform household materials into something new and beautiful.
