Bold Family Day

Bold Family Days offer playful, hands-on activities for all ages, including collage, sculpture-making, and skyline drawing, inviting families to explore art and the Bold Tendencies site together.

This is a publicly contributed event and not a council event. If you would like, you can submit your own event and have it appear on our website (subject to review).

Bold Family Days 

Free, hands-on afternoons of art, storytelling and play for all ages at Bold Tendencies, running monthly on Sundays this Summer. 

Come and join us for Bold Family Days at Bold Tendencies!  An afternoon of free, drop-in activities inspired by this year’s theme, Déjà Vu. Families are invited to take part in a collage and poetry workshops, create wire sculptures inspired by the Derek Jarman Garden, and contribute to a collective reimagining of the London skyline through the Skyline Stories activity. Sensory materials and SEND resources will be available. 

Free ice cream will be available from Franks Cafe, upon completion of all activities! 

Dates: Sunday 6 July, 1 - 5pm, Sunday 3 August, 1 - 5pm, Sunday 14 September, 1 - 5pm

By car
There is a pay and display car park on the ground level of the building, accessible from Cerise Road, SE15 5HQ. At the end of Cerise Road turn left at the mini roundabout. The car park is free
By train
The nearest train station to Bold Tendencies is Peckham Rye, servicing the overground Line from Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction, and South Eastern services from London Bridge

Step-free access is available. You can request this in advance of your visit. We have lifts and ramps available from the ground floor to the rooftop.
