Southwark hosts their first ever Digital Futures Month

The IT & Digital Services organised a month of events dedicated to all things digital and hosted over 61 events.

Our 2017 staff survey found that a resounding number of our workforce wanted to improve their skills and confidence with IT so that they could provide the best possible service to residents.

In response to the survey the IT & Digital Services dedicated the whole month of November to a series of events that gave staff the opportunity to hear about amazing current and future projects, improve their digital skills and contribute their ideas on how to embrace technology and innovation in their work to deliver better services.

We had an incredible line-up of speakers deliver sessions on our four themes of Resident led change, Data & Analytics, Smarter Southwark and Ways of Working. Our speakers included the GLA, VU.CITY, Digital Catapult, ODI and many more! We had over 526 staff attend sessions from all of our directorates and the feedback was great.
