Meet our digital partners

We work with the following organisations to help residents get online and improve their skills.

Abilitynet

This organisation provides free online training, resources and personal training to older and disabled residents through its national volunteer network. We're supporting this locally with our digital champions.

Children and Family Centres

There are eight children and family centres in Southwark. They provide important support to parents of young children. We work with the centres to provide help and advice on digital skills to their clients.

Clarion Housing

The Clarion Housing group run a series of online sessions. Some are specifically aimed at their residents, others are accessible to all. Email futures digital for more details.

Clear Community Web

This training provider works with us and other local organisations to deliver 1-2-1 training in the borough. It also runs free online sessions on a range of different topics.

Community Fibre 

This broadband supplier has a Digital ambassador network similar to the Southwark champions network. We work together with Community Fibre on a number of projects to promote digital learning. Community Fibre Digital Ambassadors work together with our Champions to deliver training sessions to local residents.

Community Tech Aid

This south London charity refurbishes technology and provides revived devices to people in need. Southwark Council works with this organisation to help distribute to residents in the borough. Please donate any old computers, phones and tablets to them, in order to help other Southwark residents! 

Link Age Southwark

This charity serves the needs of elderly residents in the borough. They organise personalised training in the borough and provide a range of digital support roles offering remote learning, in home learning and 1-2-1 training. We are working alongside and supporting Link Age.

The Good Things Foundation

The Good Things Foundation is a national charity working with partners throughout the UK to help people get online. Southwark is a member of the Online Centres Network, which the charity has established.

Hyperoptic

This broadband supplier is working in Southwark to deliver fast fibre broadband and helping to support our digital champions network.

Millennium Community Solutions

This company sources assistive technology and is working with Southwark Council to source and supply devices which improve life for residents with disabilities.

Southwark Group of Tenants Organisation (SGTO)

We're working with SGTO to make sure TRAs receive digital skills support opportunities and information.
