Confidence with computers, smartphones, tablets and the internet is increasingly important in our lives and work.  

If you want to brush up on your digital skills or know someone who would benefit, there are several local learning options that can help. Training is available across the borough, from structured courses to drop-in sessions and online learning. Most of the training is free or available at a low cost. Find out what’s on offer below.

    Blackfriars Settlement

    A range of education courses and qualifications are on offer with concession rates, including Functional ICT skills and Essential Digital Skills, Level 1 and Level 2 Awards in IT, MS Office courses, Computers, Smartphones and Tablets for beginners and Digital Photography.

    Free access to computer/internet is available in the Atrium 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday - Friday

    There's also a Positive Ageing drop-in session for 60+ every Friday 10am-1pm, and Mental Health & Wellbeing courses.
