Eco-Schools

Eco-Schools is an international award programme that guides schools on their sustainable journey, providing a framework to help embed these principles into the heart of school life.

A group of self selected pupils form an eco committee to lead the school through the simple process. They involve the whole school in measuring, monitoring and deciding how to make their school more eco friendly.

We have the highest percentage of registered Eco-Schools of any local authority in England, which is a fantastic achievement for our schools.
