Literary and Theatre: Soho, Fitzrovia, Holborn, Covent Garden and Mayfair

London is arguably world-class in terms of its literacy and theatrical history, easily rivalling New York, Paris, Berlin, Milan and all the other great artistic cities.  Join us on these walks to find the inspiration, the art, the lives and the music that stirs the soul, the heart and the minds of Londoners as we walk through Soho, Fitzrovia, Holborn, Covent Garden and Mayfair.

An Eclectic Mix: Belgravia, Pimlico, Greenwich, Strand and Aldwych and the South Bank Perambulation

We begin the walks at Greenwich and spread across London to Belgravia, taking a journey along the South Bank, the Strand and Aldwych, and lastly Pimlico.  Each walk is diverse, rich in culture and history but they all have their own very distinct character.

South London taster: Walworth, Bermondsey, Newington, Dulwich Village and Blakfriars and Waterloo

Come on a journey around Southwark to the quieter backwaters that many miss as they pass by on trains and buses.  On these walks we seek magnificent churches, quiet leafy squares, homes of the famous - its all there if you know where to look.  These walks take us to Bermondsey, Dulwich Village, Blackfriars and Waterloo, Newington, and Walworth.  All once small villages but now part of the great metropolis.

Gardens: The City of London East gardens and West gardens, Victorian Parks, Recreation & tree walk in Dulwich, Royal Gardens, Political Gardens and an optional visit to the Garden Museum

London is one of the greenest cities in the world and on these walks we explore the hidden gardens of the City of London, the large Royal parks and the Olympic Park. We finish with a walk around the Political Gardens of London and a visit to the Garden Museum (additional fee for optional visit).  Learn about these open spaces that give us respite from the noise and hurly burly of London life.
