Project details
A residential mixed tenure development of 67 new homes comprising of 25 council homes, 17 intermediate homes and 25 private homes, along with the re-provision of the ball court. The proposal includes the improvement of the walkway along Hazel Close and the landscaping of a small open space immediately in front of nos. 6 ‐12 Hazel Close.

In 2015
- a feasibility study was undertaken by Alan Camp Architects which showed 67 new homes could be delivered on the site, along with the re-provision of the ball court
- the council held their first public consultation in June presenting a number of options for feedback
- the council began a tender exercise to procure a development partner to deliver Lot B
In 2016
- the council held a second public consultation in February incorporating stakeholder/local resident feedback
- the council held a public exhibition in June presenting the proposal that would be submitted to planning
- the council submitted a planning application in August
- in November planning committee gave a resolution to grant planning
In 2017
- in April, Clarion Housing Group entered into a partnership arrangement with the council to deliver Lot B
- Clarion Housing Group undertook a contractor procurement exercise
Next steps
- early 2018, Clarion will hold a ‘meet the contractor’ meeting with local residents and stakeholders to talk though:
