The Edmund Street Phase 2 (sites A and B)

The council decided to sell the two sites on either side of Edmund Street in February 2010 and selected Notting Hill Housing Trust as its preferred development partner for these two sites in April 2011.

Consultation events helped to shape the proposals put forward in its planning application to the council which was submitted in 2011. You can read more about the planning system here.

Sites A and B are comprised of 279 mixed tenure units.

Tenants, who took up the option to return when they were moved out during phase 1 of regeneration of the estate, were given priority to apply for social rented units. Tenants and option to returnees from phase 3 will qualify for priority bidding to obtain both social and affordable rented units.
