Mountview Academy
The prestigious theatre school is re-locating to Peckham as part of proposals to transform the library square. Southwark Council is offering a long-term lease at Eagle Wharf to the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
The important site is next to Peckham Library, with the nearby library square part of a community co-design project. It will complement the on going regeneration of Peckham.
Mountview will bring a host of educational, cultural, leisure and employment benefits to the area including:
- community drama and dance classes and productions
- out-reach sessions and community well-being
- fitness classes for all ages
