Residents can get involved in our work on the Aylesbury by participating in the organisations listed below.

Tenants and Residents Associations

Tenants and Residents Associations (TRAs) are community groups made up of local people acting in a voluntary capacity to promote and defend the interests of tenants and/or residents in their area.

Creation Trust

Creation Trust is the successor organisation to the Aylesbury New Deal for Communities (NDC), a 10 year government funded regeneration programme set up in 1999 and completed in March 2010.

The objectives of Creation Trust are to involve residents in the regeneration of the Aylesbury area, to improve health and wellbeing, increase educational attainment and reduce worklessness.

Aylesbury Regeneration Sub-Group (RSG)

The Aylesbury Regeneration Sub-Group (RSG) reports to the Creation Trust Board, and was established to ensure effective participation in decision-making regarding the redevelopment of the Aylesbury Estate.

The RSG comprises of 8 members representing local residents and local stakeholder bodies. Jean Bartlett is the chair of the RSG.

Borough, Bankside and Walworth Community Council meetings

Residents can attend the Borough, Bankside and Walworth Community Council meetings for an opportunity to influence decisions on local matters.
