The Combatting Drugs Partnership (CDP) in Southwark brings together different organisations in a single setting to work to understand and address shared challenges related to drug-related harm. It is accountable to the UK government for delivering the outcomes of the drugs strategy in Southwark.
The CDP’s priorities and outcomes are aligned to the national drugs strategy (PDF).
The CDP sits under Southwark’s Community Safety Partnership and is responsible for delivering the strategic priority of reducing drug-related harm.
Task and finish groups are convened throughout the year as appropriate.
Some work of the CDP is covered in other forums. CDP members are part of these forums and are accountable for reporting progress back to the CDP.
