Procedures register
The procedures register (PDF, 1MB) explains our approved design process, including:
- how projects get into our quality system
- standard development and work phases they'll need to progress through
- submitting designs for approval
- completing road safety and other independent audits
- how to vary your design from our approved standards
- how to get approval for street furniture not on our street elements register
Many of the procedures need designers to complete and submit certain forms including:
- induction request for (DOCX, 145KB): use if you want to propose a feature to add to the SSDM
- proposal gateway certificate (DOCX, 46KB): describes if your feature is approved
- departure application and certificate (DOCX, 74KB): describes if your proposal will not follow the SSDM is approved
- quality plan form (DOCX 175KB): use to describe the design of your feature
