Previous stages

Prior to submission to the Secretary of State, we've undergone a series of extensive consultations and engagement with different stakeholders across versions of the plan under Regulation 18 and Regulation 19, including:

1. Amended Policy Version New Southwark Plan (Consultation period: January 2019 to May 2019)
2. Proposed Submission Version New Southwark Plan (Consultation period: October 2017 to February 2018)
3. Phases of Preferred Option New Southwark Plan (Consultation period: November 2015 to September 2017)

The following section sets out the previous versions of the plan and the accompanying statutory documents.

Regulation 19 Consultation (in chronological order)

During October 2017 and May 2019, we consulted on two versions of Regulation 19 draft local plans, namely the Proposed Submission Version 2017 and Amended Policies Version 2019.

New Southwark Plan Proposed Submission Version: Amended Policies Version (2019)

In response to the consultation, some policies were proposed to be amended with substantial modifications prior to the plan being submitted to the Secretary of State. Due to changes proposed to these policies, we published the Amended Policies Version of the NSP comprising the amended policies. A further round of consultation on the amended policies version was conducted between January and May 2019. Documents can be viewed below:

Regulation 18 Consultation (in chronological order)

We first conducted two sections of consultation for Regulation 18 draft local plan ‘Preferred Option Version’, namely Part One: Strategic Policies and Development Management Policies between November 2015 and March 2016 and Part two: Area Visions and Site Allocations from February to May 2017.

An additional round of consultation was made on the Preferred Option Version as a whole for new and amended policies between June and September 2017. Documents can be viewed below:
