Betting shops

The Betting, Borrowing and Health Report (2014) [SP409] (PDF, 3.2mb)

  • presents evidence on the concerning health effects of gambling and the use of betting and payday loan shops.
  • supports policy P40 in the Southwark Plan (2022).

The policy context and use class categorisation outlined in the report are outdated but the evidence presented in the literature review remains relevant.

Child obesity
