Conservation areas

Trafalgar Avenue

The Trafalgar Avenue Conservation Area is situated to the south of the Old Kent Road. The conservation area is comprised principally of groups of early to mid Victorian terraced houses, typically 3 to 4 storeys. Along with the Lord Nelson Public House the buildings form a cohesive group. The houses in the Trafalgar Avenue were part of the first phase of development in Peckham, which occurred in the early part of the 19th century in areas close to the Old Kent Road.
