Little Dorrit Park

We're seeking to make improvements to Little Dorrit Park, which is a small park located just off Borough High Street near London Bridge Station.

Currently, Little Dorrit Park is designated as a play area, which means adults without children and dogs are prohibited according to the by-laws.

The proposal is to fence off the play area so that everyone can feel welcome in the park.

Play equipment will be improved, and trees will be planted to benefit wildlife and combat the urban heat island effect.

Should funding be sufficient, the project could also include improvements to the Peace Garden, which is located next to Little Dorritt Park.

Consultations

Two public consultations have been carried out.

A summary of the views and ideas from the first consultation is available to download from the consultation Hub webpage

The views and ideas of those who responded have been considered, and have influenced the design options for the park.

Next steps

The design is being updated and the report on the second consultation is being produced. We will share them as soon as possible.
