Burgess Park Masterplans

Burgess Park landscape master plan

Our landscape master plan will ensure we approach the future park developments in the best way possible. It covers elements such as park entrances, play equipment, sports facilities, heritage, buildings, ecology, cycling and lighting.

The plan was created in 2010 and updated in 2014 and 2015 based on feedback from three public consultations. You can download the final master plan (PDF, 4.3mb).

Burgess Park property master plan

Our property master plan is aligned to the landscape masterplan and will ensure we approach the management of the buildings in the park in the best way possible. It covers all the key buildings in the park including the old library bath and wash house, sports centre and the Chumleigh Almshouses. The plan was created in 2016 and updated in 2017. You can download the final building master plan (PDF, 4mb).

A feasibility study has also been undertaken with regard the old library bath and wash house. You can download the final report (PDF, 32.3mb).
