About the park
Brimmington Park, located just off the Old Kent Road, provides a relaxing space, multi-use sports facility and a new children's playground completed in 2008. Events are held by local residents.
The Friends of Brimmington Park work with us to help secure and promote the conservation and protection of the park for the benefit of wildlife and the community. If you want to get involved and make a difference, see the Friends of Brimmington Park website or email them at email@example.com.
The council is proposing to improve the football facilities, play and landscape areas to make the park more appealing for the different people that use it.
Please see the first draft design which was consulted on during September and October 2019.
Valued feedback from visitors to the park has been received and the draft design is being updated. It was clear that people would like more information on the changes to how the sports facilities will be managed and this will also be provided during the second public consultation which will be held in early 2020.
