CPZ ‘G’ review
We would like you views on proposed changes to the controlled parking zone (CPZ) on your road.
As part of our programme of reviewing existing controlled parking zone we are asking residents and businesses what changes they would like us to make to the Zone ‘G’ parking zone in Bermondsey. We would also like to know if the residents and businesses of Shad Thames would like to have their area made into a separate parking zone.
We would like to know if the parking restrictions in place still suit the needs of those living in the area.
In 2018 we sent you a survey asking if you would like us to make any changes to CPZ ‘G’. As part of this survey we sent out a total of 9,517 surveys and received a 4% response rate. 65% of those who responded wanted the current parking restrictions to be amended with 61% stating that they struggle to park on a Saturday. We know, from the responses we received, and an increase in residential properties, bars and restaurants, that parking stress has increased and we would like to know what changes you would like us to make.
