You can hire a bike or cargo bike with the Transport for London (TfL) Santander cycle hire scheme.

Hire a cargo bike with OurBike
We were the first borough in London to introduce the OurBike community e-cargo bike share scheme.
The hire fees are subsidised by us and cost £1.25 for 15 minutes. All new users get 1 hour free on their first ride or 180 minutes if they're a business.
Find where to hire an e-cargo bike
If you’ve never ridden a cargo bike, it’s a good idea to get training. This is free for anyone who has never used an electric cargo bike before. The bikes:
- have 3 wheels
- has a box carrying capacity of 100kg
- have seating for 2 children or 1 adult inside
- have lots of space for cargo

Trial a bike
The Try Before You Bike scheme lets you try out cycling before committing to buying a bike.
You pay monthly online and you can purchase the bike at a reduced price.
Order a bike online and someone will bring the bike to your door.
The package includes:
- accessories (helmet, lights and lock)
- insurance against theft and damage
- special offers - check the Try before You Bike website for details
- a personal training session available through the Council
If you decide the bike is not for you, someone will collect it for free.
