Manor Place Gas Leak - Update

Southern Gas Networks experienced a major gas leak yesterday, which they informed us would take several hours to fix.

Unfortunately, this meant a number of residents had to temporarily leave their home while SGN made it safe. We were informed by Southern Gas Networks at about 8.00pm last night that the leak had been fixed and all residents were allowed to return home.

We’re carrying out checks today and this week to make sure there are no further issues. If you have any problems with your gas supply or your smell gas, please immediately contact Southern Gas Networks on 0800 912 1700.

If you have any problems with your heating or hot water, please contact the council’s customer contact centre on 0800 952 4444 and we will arrange for a contractor to attend your home.
