You can access the same account from up to six devices using the app.

Using the app

You can browse the eBooks catalogue from within the app and then download up to 15 eBooks onto your device for an initial loan period of two weeks. You can also renew eBooks a maximum of two times. Once your eBook has expired, it will automatically disappear from your device.

Listening to eAudiobooks on the BorrowBox app

You can browse the eAudiobooks catalogue from within the app and select up to 15 titles to borrow. Complete eAudiobook files are large so you're given the option of downloading the eAudiobook chapter by chapter. Chapters that you've listened to can be deleted to free up space on your device.

Reserving eBooks and eAudiobooks on the BorrowBox app

Reservations are free and can be placed against any eBook or eAudiobook title that's on loan to another borrower. When you place your reservation you'll be told the date that the title will become available for you to borrow. Your reservation guarantees your place in the queue and if a title is returned early by another borrower, you'll be informed. Please note that a reservation counts towards your loan limits for eBooks (15) and for eAudiobooks (15). For example, if you have 10 eBooks out on loan you could have a maximum of five eBook reservations as well.
