East Street Library

March 2014 sees lots of extra events and activities at East Street Library, 168-170 Old Kent Road. Events this month include:

  • Spelling Competition, 5 March 2014, 4pm to 5pm. Celebrate World Spelling Day and test your spelling skills. Prizes to be won! Suitable for ages 7-12.

  • Feel Better with a Book, 11 March 2014, 2pm to 3.30pm. Celebrating International Womens Day and womens contribution to literature.

  • Ovarian Cancer Awareness talk, 12 March 2014, 3pm to 4pm To coincide with Ovarian Awareness Day we will be holding a presentation giving information and personal experiences.

  • National No Smoking Day, 19 March 2014, all day. Pop in for information, leaflets and lots of support on how to quit smoking.

Canada Water Library

February 2014 sees lots of extra events and activities at Canada Water Library . There are lots of events taking place this month including special guests taking part in our Rhyme and Reason Poetry Festival. Events this month include:
