COVID-19 home testing

COVID-19 testing privacy policy

We're supporting the nationwide rapid mass testing programme for COVID-19 by providing community testing across the borough. Southwark Council, the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) and the NHS are working in partnership to deliver this programme but act as independent Data Controllers. This privacy notice explains how we use your information.

Why we need your personal data

We need some information about you to book, administer and deliver a test to detect the presence of the virus that causes COVID-19.

We will anonymise the data we collect for equality and monitoring purposes.

We will only collect your data for these reasons

How we look after your data

We'll process and hold your data securely and only give access to people who are authorised to see it. We will only keep your data for the reasons given above and will delete your information when the testing programme ends.
