- 41 interns taken from local higher education establishments since 2010 when the initiative began
- in 2009, Southern Exposure inspired the founding of Southern Exposure PG, a junior version of the fund helping over 300 local young people make and market their short films
- our films have been entered into over 60 festivals and won over 15 prizes
- local, regional, national and international impact of the films including Oscar-qualifying festivals
- a highly skilled, networked local community of emergent filmmakers has developed
- clear routes into the industry have been achieved by past awardees, including: Channel 4 internships, NFTS applications, Coming Up participants, BBC Drama writing/directing commissions, Sky and National Geographic producing credits, advertising contracts and feature films
