Description

Celebrating and showcasing the work of Southwark-based artists aged over 55, this diverse and eclectic group show challenges stereotypes and expectations. The artists are offering opportunities to explore creativity for the over 55s, including a drawing class (Monday 27 Nov. 2023 from 11am - 1pm) clay modelling class (Sunday 26 Nov from 11am - 2pm) poetry workshop (Wednesday 29 Nov from 4pm - 6pm) and upcycling workshop (Tuesday 28 Nov from 2pm - 4pm). Using paint, photography, textiles and digital media, the selected artists show that life, love, sex, style, rebellion and beauty Ain’t Over when you get older. Artists include Malathie de Silva, Michael Petry, Dirk Larsen, Cherrie Stevens, Michelle Baharier and Mark Pearson.
