Description
"You matter to Us" starts May 9th 2023 to July 17th 2023“You matter to Us” is a new initiative that will bring together community voices, residents and young people sharing skills and exploring how we can decrease loneliness in our elders through hands-on sessions. Loneliness is equal to the feeling of losing someone dear to you or simply feeling like you are alone in the world. Our programme will undertake community engagement tasks and activities with groups in support of the members who attend the day care centre and the local community with the aim to form new partnerships.
About Us
Elim House is a registered charity and leading daycare organisation for the elderly, based in Peckham, South East London. Established in 1980, we have over 30 years of experience in the provision of day centre facilities, advice, support, community care and activities for Southwark's elderly Caribbean community.
