DescriptionMountview created the UK’s first specialist three-year musical theatre course and has been training West End and Broadway stars for over 25 years. Our alumni including Olivier award-winners Giles Terera (Hamilton) and Rebecca Trehearn (Showboat), Evening Standard award-winner Tyrone Huntley (Jesus Christ Superstar) and most recently Sha Dessi (Eponine in Les Miserables) and Ben Joyce (Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys).
Working in small groups following a structured multi-displine time-table, this intensive course will provide a true conservatoire training experience and offer valuable insight into the requirements of a professional musical theatre performer. The training will be rigorous and demanding – but if you have a passion for musical theatre and are looking to take your skills to the next level, this is the course for you.
Course content includes:
1-2-1 singing tutorials
Acting Through Song
Dances classes in ballet and jazz (both routine and technique)
Performance project with a professional creative team
Weekly Q&As with industry professionals – including creatives, casting directors and performers
Classes run Monday to Friday, leaving your evenings and weekends free to fully immerse yourself in the West End and London culture.
