Description

LGBTQ+ people and public libraries have a long and complicated relationship. In this free talk, librarian Isadore will take the audience on a potted history of public libraries as both havens for and censors of LGBTQ+ material. There will be time for the audience members to share their own experiences if they wish, and hear more about what’s on offer in Southwark for LGBTQ+ library users and their allies.
