Description

You will learn authentic Dancehall grooves and techniques while exploring different era’s and styles (Old, Mid & New Skool). A class where dance meets a lifestyle

Miss Rose UK: International Caribbean Choreographer and Dancer specialising in dancehall, based in London. Known for her energetic and vibrant spirit,  Rose has taught across London/Europe . She hold 2 titles: Dancehall Queen 2020 (Shabba Party, VPR, Knots & Vibe) AND Dancehall Princess 2019 (Twist Germany) . She’s performed on many stages, with DJs, festivals and carnivals, including Rachael Anson (Stormzy H.I.TH tour, Wstrn show), Caribbean PartyUK, Notting Hill Carnival (Wray and Nephew stage)  Indigo O2, Matts BBQ, Manchester & Berlin carnival.  Credits include: The Big Narstie show (C4), The Compozers, Popcaan, Shenseea, Skillibeng, Macka diamond, King bubba, SUPA nytro, Marl-e, Lady danger, Kal-I, Trenz, kmoore, Ratlin, Mike Brimey, Beenie G, Maximus, Raver and more!!

Transport

By Bus:A huge range of buses stop just outside our building on Peckham Hill Street, with excellent links to major stations and tube stops Elephant & Castle (Northern Line), Vauxhall (mainline rail/Victoria line) and Waterloo. Local buses also go further into south London to destinations including Lewisham, Dulwich and Catford.

By Tube:The London Overground (Orange line) leaves every 15 minutes from Peckham Rye and Queens Road Peckham. This line, as well as reaching many neighbourhoods in South West and East London, links to Canada Water (Jubliee Line), Clapham High Street (Northern Line), Whitechapel (District/Hammersmith & City Lines) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line). Good bus and mainline rail links also serve the Tube.

By Train:Peckham Rye station has four services per hour to London Bridge (12 minutes) and two services per hour to Victoria (15 minutes). In addition, the Thameslink service serves major central stations including Blackfriars and St Pancras International.
