Description

The summer series of Camberwell Talks: From the innovative youth theatre vision of Suzann McLean, artistic director of Theatre Peckham, to the stories behind the delicious Kurdish cuisine served up by Nandine restaurants' Pary Baban, and Antiques Roadshow’s resident art expert Rupert Maas talking art and money.

Tickets cost £10 or £7 concession. Your ticket also includes a free drink and a half-price deal on the night for a pre- or post-talk set meal at local restaurant Caravaggio.

• Monday 6 June, 7pm: Pary Baban, Nandine restaurants
Founder and head chef of Nandine’s Kurdish Restaurant, Pary talks about food, culture, identity and her life through the recipes she has collected and now shares with Camberwell. At the Crypt, St. Giles Church*

• Monday 4 July, 7pm: Rupert Maas
The Antiques Roadshow comes to SE5! Rupert is joined in conversation by fellow experts Jack Wakefield and Lawrence Hendra for an evening of ‘art and money’. At St Giles' church.
