Take part in a community arts project based in Bermondsey 'The Larder of London' and get to know people in your local area through sharing food and personal histories and a series of FREE drop-in arts events and creative workshops.
Free tea, coffee, cake and biscuits will also be provided.
The project will run for 3 days a week over 3 weeks with the 1st week open to all community members and the 2nd week aimed at parents and children with activities for the half term break.
The 3rd week will culminate in an exhibition showcasing work made during workshops and a communal meal event to celebrate the end of the project.
Activities include;
Learn to make a cast of your hand in plaster
Make herb sachets to scent your home.
Share your favourite recipes and food memories
Make a mask of your favourite food
Make some bunting from old tea towels and fabric
Learn simple bookbinding
Recipe sharing and communal meal event
