Animator Sophie Burrows will walk attendees through the process of animation, sharing tips and tricks to help you create your own animations.
Who is this for?
For anyone and everyone with an interest in film, ‘Filmmaking 101’ is for you. You don’t need experience, you don’t need kit, you just need to bring your creativity and your curiosity.
About Sophie Burrows:
Sophie is a film and animation practitioner with a specialism in stop motion animation. In addition to running Animating Education she has taught courses for a wide range of organisations including the BFI, Northampton University and City of London Girls School.
She is passionate about animation's use in community storytelling and the accessibility of stop motion as a tool for education and community engagement.
In 2018 Sophie was awarded an MA with Distinction from London Metropolitan University and has recently been awarded Arts Council funding to deliver an Animation project with 10 London schools.
The cost of this individual tutorial is £15.
