Description

After successful workshops in Germany and Switzerland, WtW is coming to London for a one-time workshop on women as potentially strong and effective negotiators! Research shows that women, across cultures and socio-economic levels, tend to recognise less situations as negotiable, and dread or avoid negotiating better outcomes for themselves in personal as well as professional scenarios compared to their male counterparts (even when they excel at negotiating for the interests of others!) The price we pay for this is HUGE, not only financially, as avoiding negotiation also takes a toll on our emotional and physical well-being. What we do at the workshop: - Explore what it means to be a strong female negotiator - Review the typically feminine traits, often lacking in the old-fashioned negotiation world, that make for excellent negotiation skills if applied correctly - Identify how we experience different negotiating scenarios, and tackle the challenges these situations present - Discuss concrete tools to help strengthen our negotiation skills Women the Workshop is here to tackle a deep and outdated social norm head-on, and begin a process of capability-building, meant to continue well after the workshop ends.
