This is the launch of Until the Sky Turns Silver, a novel about poverty, the United Nations, and how people of very different walks of life try to overcome social injustice together. The book is a Finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards.

Description

The event will include discussions with the co-authors and videos about ATD Fourth World's anti-poverty work in Tanzania, which will benefit from the proceeds. Ticket holders will receive a copy of the book, refreshments, and an additional surprise gift. With a special appearance by Dr. Koldo Casla of Newcastle University, Policy Director of Just Fair-UK, previously with Amnesty International, and the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. Exhibitors featured at the event include: Sondiata Global Media, Coker Jay Consulting, Trinket Workshop, WAND-UK, and Brussel Pond Consulting.

By Bus:The closest bus stop is "Camberwell Road/Albany Road" which can be reached by buses: 12, 35, 40, 45, 68, 148, 171, 176, or 468. Walk two blocks east from the bus stop and ATD Fourth World is the house on your immediate left (without going around Addington Square).
