DescriptionA Family Friendly Event: panel discussion and workshop With Siobhan Davies, Sarah Wigglesworth and guest contributor. A unique opportunity to look into the overlaps at play between architecture, physicalized learning and children’s education. Siobhan Davies has long been fascinated with the impact that space has on learning and in this discussion evening she is joined by architect Sarah Wigglesworth, who re-purposed the RIBA award-winning Siobhan Davies Studio in Elephant and Castle. Whilst the panel workshop takes place, accompanying children can have fun taking part in a choreography and architecture workshop. Led by one of our expert artist facilitators, children will have the opportunity to explore the building through movement, choreography, construction and play. This event is ideal for families, architects, teachers, educationalists and anyone interested in the impact of movement and space on childhood learning. If you would like to book your child onto the workshop, please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0207 091 0650 as spaces are limited. The building will be open from 4pm and tea and coffee will be provided, so do feel free to come straight from school and spend time here before the event starts.
