DescriptionEEA and Output Arts are once again returning to the Blackfriars' Mile with the Inventor's Imaginarium as part of Blackfriars Stories with Southwark Council Inspired by the great innovators who have lived and worked in Southwark throughout history, EEA will be inventing the future on the Blackfriars Mile. We have been working in schools and with the community to re-discover the amazing characters of Blackfriars Road, from Babbage and Lovelace to Octavia Hill and Kirkaldy, Southwark has always been brimming over with new ideas. EEA's huge transformer puppet, a 5m high animated robot made out of wheelie bins (Bin Bot) will lead a spectacular illuminated parade which will begin at Lancaster Estate Gardens at 4.00pm. The parade featuring perambulatory contraptions and inventions made with the community to the Innovator's Fair in Mint Street Park (Southwark, London, SE1 1QP) at approx. 5.15pm where the parade will conclude.
