Our values
The core values underpinning our climate change strategy are:

- Transparency
The impact of climate change is not felt evenly. Those who are vulnerable or who have the least resource are often the most impacted. This means that tackling climate change is an issue of social justice as well as environmental action.
This is a real opportunity for the borough. By taking climate action there is the potential to create other benefits at the same time. Our strategy sets out our commitment to try to maximise these benefits. Particularly where they reduce social inequality and promote social justice.
