Borough, Bankside and Walworth
Our next meeting
The next meeting of Borough, Bankside & Walworth Community Council will take place on Wednesday 10 April. The meeting will focus on youth violence and provision of youth services, and will take place from 7-9pm at St Peter's Church, Liverpool Grove, SE17 2HH.
There will be two "Question Time" style panels. The first will be made up people using and/or providing services for young people in Southwark; the second - after the interval - will be made up of local politicians (Southwark Council Leader Peter John and London Assembly Member Florence Eshalomi will both be joining) and a police representative. It's unclear whether local MPs will be able to join, as it is likely they will need to be in parliament.
If you'd like to ask a question to either panel, email Pauline Bonner at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll select three questions per panel in advance of the meeting - and if time permits we'll take other questions on the night. And lastly, please inform your friends and neighbours. We're particularly keen for young people to join this meeting, ask questions and shape the discussion.
I hope to see lots of you on Wednesday 10 April.
All the best,
Chair, Borough, Bankside & Walworth Community Council
Councillor for Newington ward

Members of the Community Council
Thank you to everyone who took part in the Southwark Conversation.
Late last year, 3,000 people took part in Southwark Council’s most far-reaching consultation, where we asked you, our residents, how you feel about change in our borough.
The conversations helped us learn a lot about what matters to you. We'll use that information to inform our council plans and priorities, following detailed analysis over the coming months.
As promised, we've published an initial report, setting out the key themes you told us were important to you. You can download the report here.
