Active Southwark Olympic Legacy Fund
Overview
The Active Southwark Olympic Legacy Fund helps deliver regular sport and physical activities. It is for organisations supporting people who struggle to stay active.
How to use the fund
The money can pay for the cost of new equipment and facilities or improving existing ones, (capital spending).
Your project must help to grow the number of residents being physically active as a core aim. This should include a proportion of people that are not regularly active.
If successful, you must record and share participation data to show the engagement and impact of the funding.
Activities created because of a grant must:
- be free or charged at an affordable price
- have no limitations on access, including discriminatory or membership policies
There are 4 sizes of grant; micro, small, medium and large. The table below gives some examples.
