Subsequent employment
Please read this section carefully
If, after retirement, you enter further employment with any employer who participates in the Local Government Pension Scheme, your benefits may be liable to reduction or suspension if the total of your benefits and new annual rate of pay is greater than your rate of pay at retirement. Therefore if at any time after your retirement you start work with another local authority, or a body admitted to the Local Government Pension Scheme or are re-employed by this council, you must notify the Pensions Section in writing without delay.
