Where to get maternity support

In Southwark, King's College Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital support parents during:

• pregnancy
• birth
• the postnatal period

Your GP can refer you to a hospital for your maternity care, or you can self-refer. 

Both hospitals offer midwife appointments in local hubs, and hospital-based births. They will also give you information about: 

• community groups
• emotional support
• advice on preparing for birth and caring for your baby
