Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities support programmes

Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities (SFSC) is a parenting programme that takes your family’s cultural and spiritual beliefs into account.

The programme is available in English, Spanish or Arabic. 

You can take part in person or online.

It covers:

  • positive parenting
  • enhancing relationships
  • community engagement
  • child development
  • mental health
  • alcohol and drugs
  • domestic abuse
  • gangs

Starts: Tuesday 23 September 2025.

10 weekly sessions, 10am to 1pm.

Online

We are not running SFSC online this term but are offering a hybrid option to the main group if required. We will also be running TAP-Together, a series of online parenting workshops on Wednesday evenings, starting 23 September. Please contact Tara.Long@Southwark.gov.uk for more details
