Best Start Family hubs – support and locations
About Best Start Family hubs
Best Start Family hubs are in the heart of the community. They are one-stop shops for face-to-face support, information and advice for families.
All families with children can join a hub and get support, and most services are free. You can also join if you have a child aged up to 25 who has special education needs and disabilities (SEND).
Support includes:
- health services (antenatal, maternity, health visiting, school nurses) from the health visiting team
- infant feeding support
- early years and childcare
- the home learning environment
- parenting and relationship support
- emotional and wellbeing support
- youth services
Our hubs work with your local library, leisure centre, youth clubs and faith and community groups. They make sure that wherever you go there’s a wide offer local to you.
Whoever you speak to there’s always someone who knows how to help.
