Fostering information sessions

We hold regular fostering information meetings. Find out what to expect and how to attend.

We regularly hold in-person, drop-in information sessions to tell you about the process and the benefits of becoming a foster carer.

During the session, you'll:

  • hear how fostering helps young people
  • talk to an experienced member of support staff
  • learn what's needed to become a foster carer from our social workers
  • get an insight into what it's like to be a Southwark Council foster carer
  • be able to ask foster carers questions (if they're visiting your session)
